Turkey Chili
- 1 14 lbs lean ground turkey
- 16 ounces canned kidney beans, undrained
- 16 ounces canned stewed tomatoes
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons dried onions
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 teaspoon oregano
- 12 teaspoon cumin
- 12 teaspoon paprika
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 12-2 cups water
- sour cream (optional)
- shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- chopped green onion (optional)
- sliced black olives (optional)
- Spray large saucepan or Dutch Oven with no-stick cooking spray.
- Heat over medium-high heat about 30 seconds.
- Crumble ground turkey into saucepan.
- Cook and stir 3-5 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Add remaining ingredients, stir thoroughly.
- Cook over medium heat 15-30 minutes.
- Garnish with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions and sliced black olives, if desired.
