BBQ Beef & Bacon Turnovers

  1. Heat oven to 375F.
  2. Combine egg and water in bowl; beat with fork until frothy.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Grease baking sheet; set aside.
  5. Place bacon in 10-inch nonstick skillet.
  6. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 4-6 minutes or until crisp.
  7. Remove bacon with slotted spoon to paper towel; set aside.
  8. Place ground beef and onion into same skillet.
  9. Cook over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink.
  10. Drain; stir in cooked bacon and barbecue sauce.
  11. Remove from heat; cool about 20 minutes.
  12. Unroll pizza crust dough on clean working surface; press into 15x10-inch rectangle.
  13. Cut into 6 (5-inch) squares.
  14. Place diagonal pieces of cheese so points are 1/2 inch from 1 corner of each dough square.
  15. Top cheese with 1/4 cup meat mixture; spread over cheese.
  16. Fold half of dough over to form triangle; pinch edges to seal tightly.
  17. Place onto prepared baking sheet; crimp edges firmly with fork.
  18. Brush dough with egg mixture; sprinkle with sesame seed, if desired.
  19. Bake for 17 to 19 minutes or until golden brown.
  20. Serve hot.
