Midwestern Biscuits And Gravy Recipe
- 1 pound hamburger
- 2 1/2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. beef bouillon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can cooked biscuits, 10 count
- Brown hamburger in frying pan till slightly crispy.
- (It's important which the hamburger is crispy in this recipe).
- Drain fat.
- Mix flour into hamburger till hamburger is coated.
- In a bowl mix together lowfat milk and water; gradually add in to hamburger, stirring constantly.
- Stir in beef bouillon, salt and pepper.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 min, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over biscuits.
