Bacon Bombs
- 1 loaf White Bread
- 4 Tablespoons Fresh Chopped Chives
- 1 pound Bacon
- 1 box Toothpicks
- 2 packages (8 Oz.) Cream Cheese, Softened
- Cut bacon pieces in half.
- Trim bread crusts.
- Add chopped chives to softened cream cheese.
- Spread approximately 2 tablespoons cream cheese over each bread slice.
- Continue until you run out of cream cheese.
- Cut bread slices in half and roll up, jelly roll style.
- Take a bacon piece and wrap around the rolled up bread/cream cheese.
- Secure with a toothpick.
- Place bombs on a rack over a baking dish and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, or until bacon is as crisp as you like it.
- You may use other flavored cream cheese, other bread types, etc.
