Larry's Sweet & Sour Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 13 cup minced onion
- 14 cup milk
- 12 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash salt and pepper
- 12 ounces bottle chili sauce
- 10 ounces jar grape jelly
- In a large bowl with plenty of room to get your hands down in it, mix together all ingredients except the chili sauce and the grape jelly.
- Mix gently, as you don't want to pack the mixture together.
- Form meatballs and line up on a cookie sheet.
- I make my meatballs approximately 1-1/4", but you can make yours larger or smaller.
- Bake in a 350 oven for approximately 45 minutes, or until meatballs are no longer pink.
- Turn approximately halfway through the baking process.
- If you prefer, meatballs can be cooked in a skillet on top of the stove.
- While meatballs are baking, combine entire contents of grape jelly and chili sauce jars into a small saucepan.
- Heat gently, stirring until combined.
- To serve, move cooked meatballs to a crock-pot and pour sauce over top.
- Mix gently and serve with toothpicks.
