Tomatilla Salsa and Apples

  1. Remove papery cover from the outside of the Tomatilla and cut into quarters.
  2. Keep approximately 1 1/2 cups out, put to the side, this will be coarsely chopped and put in at the end.
  3. Add Tomatilla in a Food Processor, add all the garlic, onions, apples.
  4. Place in lage bowl after blending.
  5. Blend into a slightly course mixture.
  6. Add the sugar, salt,vinegar and lemon.
  7. Coursely chop peppers, parsley and cilantro, add to bowl.
  8. Then put the rest of the Granny Smiths you chopped earlier.
  9. The peppers can be changed up to taste.
  10. This makes 6 pints, can be frozen.
  11. Keeps for 1 month or more.
