Lasagna
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 c. spaghetti sauce
- 6 uncooked lasagna noodles
- 1 (12 oz.) container low-fat cottage cheese
- 1 c. shredded Monterey cheese
- 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- Heat oven to 400u0b0. Cook ground beef and garlic in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently, until ground beef is brown.
- Drain and stir in Italian seasoning and spaghetti sauce.
- Heat to boiling and remove from heat.
- Spread 1/4 cup beef mixture in saucepan, 8 x 8 x 2-inches or 9 x 9 x 2-inches.
- Top with 2 lasagna noodles.
- Spread 1/3 of the cottage cheese over beef noodles.
- Sprinkle with 1/3 of the Monterey Jack cheese on top.
- Repeat layers twice.
- Bake about 10 minutes or until hot and cheese is melted.
- Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
