Dahi Luchi

  1. Sift flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add yoghurt and mix well.
  3. Gradually add ghee little at a time.
  4. Knead well.
  5. Make a stiff dough.
  6. Cover.
  7. Leave to stand for 15 minutes.
  8. Knead for 2 minutes again.
  9. Divide dough into 15 equal sized round balls.
  10. Roll out each round circle 3" (7 1/2 cms) in diameter.
  11. Heat ghee or oil in a heavy pan.
  12. Fry 1 or 2 luchis at a time until colour turns golden brown on both sides.
  13. Serve hot.
