Chocolate Crinkles

  1. Melt butter and chocolate with the coffee.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
  3. Beat chocolate mixture and sugar.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time.
  5. Add vanilla.
  6. On low speed beat in dry ingredients.
  7. Refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours. Grease cookie sheets.
  8. Roll teaspoonful of cookie dough into the confectioners sugar after forming ball with cookie dough.
  9. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
  10. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350u0b0 or until tops are just set.
  11. (Do not overbake.)
  12. Cool on sheets for 1 minute, then transfer to racks until completely cooled.
  13. Makes approximately 5 dozen.
