Barbecued Guacamole Burgers
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Fresh Ground Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
- 1/2 cups Barbecue Sauce
- 3 whole Ripe Avocados
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Fresh Ground Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
- 2 Tablespoons Cilantro, Chopped
- 1/4 cups Diced Tomato
- 2 whole Green Onions, diced
- 8 whole Hamburger Buns
- 2 cups Lettuce, Shredded
- Divide ground beef into 8 equal portions and pat into patties.
- Season both sides of patties with salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Grill over medium high heat for about 4 minutes per side, or until patties are cooked through.
- Brush both sides of each patty with barbecue sauce and cook for an additional minute or two for the barbecue sauce to stick to the hamburger patty.
- For the guacamole: Cut avocados in half and carefully remove seeds; set seeds aside.
- Scoop out avocado into a bowl and smash with a fork.
- Stir in lemon juice, mayo, salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Mix until well combined.
- Stir in cilantro, tomato and green onions.
- Place avocado seed in the center of your guacamole to keep it from turning brown.
- (May sound a little weird, but it works!)
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to eat.
- Hamburger assembly: Toast buns lightly, if desired.
- Layer on a barbecued hamburger patty, top with guacamole, lettuce and top side of the bun.
- Enjoy!
