Boston Creme Pie Recipe
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- Large eggs
- 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 can chocolate fudge frosting
- Follow package instructions to make layer cake.
- Make pudding with lowfat milk; cover with wax paper and chill.
- Whip cream and fold into pudding to make custard.
- When cake is completely cold, spread custard on bottom layer except for 1/2 inch all around edge.
- There will be more than sufficient.
- Add in the top layer of cake and spread chocolate frosting on top.
- Chill.
- Serves 8.
