Homemade brown gravy
- 1 1/4 cup bacon grease
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 cup favorite stock
- preheat cast iron frying pan, 1/4 heat.
- Add bacon grease to hot pan.
- Sprinkle in flour, and workout all the lumps
- Begin to add warm water.
- Caution, gravy will thicken quickly.
- Use water, flower, and stock to increase the amount of gravy.
- When you reach the amount of gravy you want, add flour to thicken.
- Job complete.
