Best Beer Brats Recipe
- 2 pkt regular Johnsonville brats(about 8-10)
- 1 can beer (1 to 2)
- 5 x cloves garlic crushed
- 1 med onion sliced buns spicy brown mustard disposable aluminum pan about 9x12x2
- Put onion slices and garlic in the pan and arrange the brats on the top.
- Place on the grill rack over a good bed of coals, and add in one can of beer.
- Cook the brats about 30 - 45 mins.
- You may need to add in more beer to the pan.
- Let the beer cook off till you have a nice sticky onion-garlic-beer goo in the pan.
- Use this to "brown" the brats.
- Cooking time on these will vary, depending on the amount of heat your coals are putting off.
- You can also cook these on the rangetop in a skillet, but somehow they taste better on the grill.
- (Not to mention having a heck of a cleanup for your skillet.
- On the grill you can just throw the pan away.)
