Veal Cordon Bleu Recipe

  1. Place the cutlets between 2 sheets of wax paper.
  2. Using a mallet or possibly the flat side of a heavy knife, lb.
  3. them till they are thin.
  4. Place a slice of cheese on each of 6 veal slices.
  5. Cover each with a slice of ham and top them with the remaining 6 slices of veal.
  6. Lb.
  7. the edges together to seal them.
  8. Dredge the packets in flour, dip them in the egg, and coat them with bread crumbs.
  9. Heat the butter in a heavy skillet to a depth of 1/4 inch.
  10. Add in the veal packets and saute/fry for 8 min, turning them once, or possibly till the meat is brown and the cheese is melted.
  11. Serves 6.
