Microwave Turkey Au Gratin

  1. In a 2-quart micro-safe casserole, combine celery, onion and butter.
  2. Micro-cook, covered, on High for 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is tender.
  3. Add milk.
  4. Micro-cook, covered, on High for 4 to 6 minutes or until steaming and foamy, but not boiling.
  5. Stir in uncooked rice.
  6. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes.
  7. Stir in turkey, soup, stuffing mix, 1/2 cheese and if desired, chili peppers. Micro-cook, covered, on High for 5 to 7 minutes or until heated through, stirring once.
  8. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  9. Let stand until cheese is melted.
  10. Serves 6.
