Beans And Macaroni (Pasta E. Fagioli) Recipe

  1. Heat 4 Tbsp.
  2. oil in heavy large skillet over medium heat and add in garlic and saute/fry till brown about 2 min.
  3. Stir in tomatoes and cook 5 min.
  4. Add in parsley, basil and oregano and sugar.
  5. Simmer till tomatoes soften about 15 min.
  6. Add in beans and cook till heated through about 5 min.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Place cooked pasta in bowl and pour sauce over and toss thoroughly.
  9. Serve, passing Parmesan cheese separately.
