Pan-Fried Rice Balls Made with Soy Sauce Seasoned Bonito Flakes!

  1. Prepare the measured ingredients.
  2. Add the dashi stock, soy sauce, and white sesame seeds to the bonito flakes.
  3. Mix together well.
  4. Add the mixture from Step 2 into the cooked rice.
  5. Shape the rice balls.
  6. I am using a mould to do this.
  7. Place a suitable amount of sesame oil into a pan and fry the rice balls on both sides.
  8. When they have browned, drizzle both sides with a bit of soy sauce.
  9. Turn to check that both sides have developed a delicious golden brown colour, and it's done!
  10. All finished.
