SURE.JELL for Less or No Sugar Needed Recipes - Blueberry Freezer Jam

  1. Rinse clean plastic containers and lids with boiling water.
  2. Dry thoroughly.
  3. Stem blueberries.
  4. Place in food processor container; cover.
  5. Pulse to evenly chop.
  6. (Do not puree.)
  7. Measure exactly 3 cups chopped blueberries into large bowl.
  8. Mix sugar, water and pectin in large saucepan.
  9. Bring to boil on medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
  10. Boil and stir 1 min.
  11. Remove from heat.
  12. Add blueberry mixture; stir 1 min.
  13. or until well blended.
  14. Fill all containers immediately to within 1/2 inch of tops.
  15. Wipe off top edges of containers; immediately cover with lids.
  16. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours.
  17. Jam is now ready to use.
  18. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks or freeze extra containers up to 1 year.
  19. Thaw in refrigerator before using.
