Sweet And Sour Beef And Cabbage
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. quick cooking rolled oats
- 2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2 c. sliced raw potatoes
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. sliced raw onions (or less)
- 1 c. minced green pepper
- 2 c. cooked tomatoes (Italian or stewed tomatoes taste great)
- Season each layer, using in total 2 teaspoons salt (regular or seasoned) and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 2 hours. Makes 6 servings.
