Apple Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Spray 8-inch square pan with non-stick coating.
  3. In bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
  4. In another bowl, beat margarine until fluffy.
  5. Gradually add brown and granulated sugars, beating well after each addition.
  6. Gradually beat in egg substitute and dry ingredients.
  7. Stir in vanilla, apples, applesauce and nuts.
  8. Spread mixture into prepared pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan for 10 minutes and cut into squares.
