Nubbly Apple Cake

• 3 tablespoons butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup flour
• 12 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 cups baking apples, diced
• 12 teaspoon cinnamon

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add the egg, baking soda, sifted flour, cinnamon and salt.
3. Add vanilla and apples.
4. This mixture will be thick and may have to be mixed by hand.
5. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees in greased 10 x 10 x 2 inch pan.
