Simple Beef Bourguignon

  1. Put mushroom soup, wine, soup mix, and thyme in a 3-qt or larger slow cooker.
  2. Whisk until blended.
  3. Add beef, carrots, and mushrooms.
  4. Stir until coated.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 to 10 hours until meat is very tender.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh ground pepper and a dash of thyme.
  7. Serve alone or with egg noodles.
