Mushroom Bacon Swiss Burger

  1. Preheat the grill.

  3. In a large bowl mix the ground chuck, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder together well.

  5. Pat out 8 equal sized patties.

  7. Once the grill is hot place the patties on grill and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side.
  8. Once you flip the burger, put the spatula down and walk away!!
  9. Please do not, I repeat do not press the burger, do not flatten the burger, do not touch the burger!
  10. If you do these things to the burger you will have a big sizzle on the grill and a big dry burger on your plate!

  12. With about a minute left, place a slice cheese over each burger and let melt.
  13. While the burgers cooked I sauteed the mushrooms.

  16. Heat a fry pan over medium high heat.
  17. Once the pan is hot add in the cooking oil, mushrooms and chopped rosemary and cook for 5 minutes.
  18. When you are ready to serve, place a burger on each bun, top with mushrooms and your favorite burger garnishes (bacon, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, condiments, etc).
