Triple Decker Diet Destroyer
- 1-3/4 gal. Chocolate cake mix
- 2 qt. OREO Pieces-Medium
- 2-1/2 gal. Prepared DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping, divided
- 1-1/2 gal. Fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 cups OREO Pieces-Small
- Prepare cake mix and bake in 6 (9-inch) round cake pans as directed on package (or bake in 2 cake pans for trial recipe).
- Cool completely.
- Split each layer horizontally in half to make a total of 12 layers (or 4 layers for trial recipe).
- Fold Medium Crunch OREO Pieces into 3-3/4 qt.
- of the whipped topping (or 3 cups for trial recipe).
- Top each of 4 bottom cake layers (or 1 bottom layer for trial recipe) with 1-1/2 cups strawberries and 2/3 cup of the whipped topping mixture; cover with second cake layer.
- Repeat layers of strawberries and whipped topping mixture.
- Top each with a third cake layer.
- Spread outside of each cake with 2 cups of the whipping topping.
- (Reserve unused cake half layer for trial recipe for another use.
- Wrap tightly and store at room temperature until ready to use.)
- Garnish with Small Crunch OREO Pieces.
- Cut each cake into 8 wedges to serve.
