Brownies (Nancy Baggett's) Recipe
- 1 2/3 c. powdered sugar
- 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. cocoa pwdr
- 1 pch salt
- 3/4 tsp baking pwdr
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1 1/2 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate
- 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp coffee powdered dissolved in 1/2 Tbsp water
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 x egg whites
- 2 Tbsp. pecans toasted, or possibly walnuts
- Sift together powdered sugar, flour, salt, and baking powdered.
- Heat oil and unsweetened chocolate together.
- (I did this in a 650 watt microwave on half power for 3 min.)
- Add in corn syrup, coffee, and vanilla.
- Mix dry ingredients with wet.
- Stir together.
- (Mix will be very thick!!)
- Line an 8-inch square pan with aluminum foil.
- (This helps you remove the brownies from the pan for easier cutting.)
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20-25 min.
- Serves 16
