Jalepeno-Monterey Jack Burger

  1. Mix meat, eggs, bread crumbs, parsley and seasonings until well blended.
  2. Shape into 16 (4-oz./115-g) patties (or into 4 patties for trial recipe), each about 4 inches in diameter.
  3. Refrigerate 20 min.
  4. Cook patties in skillet on medium heat 4 to 6 min.
  5. on each side or until done (160 degrees F).
  6. For each serving: Spread cut sides of 1 bun with 1 Tbsp.
  7. (15 mL) mayonnaise.
  8. Fill with 1 burger, 1/4 cup (60 mL) lettuce and 1 each tomato slice, cheese slice and onion ring.
