*ari*/sig Chocolate Hazelnut Muffin
- 2 1/2 cup self-raising flour
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (25g)
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter ,melted (125 g)
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup buttermilk (250ml)
- 1 cup nutella (250ml)
- 12 hazelnuts or use crushed hazelnuts. (optional)
- Grease 12 hole muffin pan.
- Sift dry ingredients into large bowl,stir in butter,eggs and buttermilk.Spoon one third of the mix into.prepared pan,top with 1 tablesspoon of Nutella.Add a whole hazelnut in each centre or sprinkle nutella with crushed hazelnuts if using the nuts.Top with remaining muffin mixture.
- Bake in a moderately hot oven for about 20 minutes
