Microwave Teriyaki Chicken Recipe

  1. Mix all ingredients except chicken in medium bowl.
  2. Microwave at HIGH (100%) till sugar dissolves, 1 to 1 1/2 min.
  3. Place chicken in square baking dish, 8 x 8 inches or possibly plastic bag.
  4. Pour marinade over chicken.
  5. Cover chicken only with plastic wrap or possibly tightly closed bag.
  6. Chill 8 hrs or possibly overnight (the longer the better), turning chicken over occasionally.
  7. Drain chicken; place in 10-inch square casserole.
  8. Cover with waxed paper.
  9. Microwave at MEDIUM - HIGH (70%) till chicken next to bone is not pink, 21 to 24 min, rearranging pcs after half the cooking time.
  10. Makes 4 servings.
