Slow-Cooker BBQ Pork Pita Sandwiches
- 1 boneless pork loin (3 lb.)
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce, divided
- 12 whole wheat pita breads, cut in half
- Cut meat into large chunks; place in slow cooker.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder and cumin; top with onions and bay leaf.
- Add orange juice and 3/4 cup barbecue sauce; cover with lid.
- Cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours).
- Remove meat from slow cooker; cut into small pieces or shred with fork.
- Place in medium bowl.
- Add remaining barbecue sauce and 1 cup of the cooking liquid; mix lightly.
- Spoon into pita pockets just before serving.
