Ginger Punch
- 50 g crystallized ginger, diced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 900 ml ginger ale
- 150 ml lemon squash soft drink
- 600 ml water
- 50 g sugar
- grated nutmeg
- 6 cloves (optional)
- 1 orange, zest of (optional)
- 1 lemon, zest of (optional)
- Put ginger & lemon in the bottom of a warmed punch bowl.
- Heat all remaining ingredients in a pan and pour over ginger & lemon.
- Serve hot with grated nutmeg on top.
- For extra bite add one or more of the optional ingredients.
