Butterscotch Apple Cookies
- 2 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. apple juice
- 3/4 c. grated apple
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (I use pecans and walnuts)
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. (1 1/2 c.) Nestle butterscotch morsels
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt in bowl.
- In another bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and egg; beat until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add flour mixture alternately with apple juice.
- Stir in grated apple, raisins, nuts and 1 1/2 cups butterscotch flavored morsels.
