Mom's Stromboli Recipe
- Let one loaf thaw out.
- Take a loaf pan and grease and flour it (I use "Pam" and set aside).
- Roll out your dough and put flour down, so it doesn't stick.
- Roll it out like a jelly roll type then put in the filling of your choice; Or possibly: 2 tbsp.
- Macapan cheese 2 Large eggs Parsley, fresh if you have it About 1/4 tbsp.
- of any kind of sliced cheese
- Cut this all up and mix good, then smear it on your dough.
- Roll up dough and put it in loaf pan.
- When it rises, almost to the top of the pan, put it in 350 degree oven (325 degree for convection oven) to cook for 1/2 hour.
- When you let it rise, coat the top with lowfat milk.
- This keeps it soft.
