Bacon-Cheese Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in shortening using a pastry blender.
  4. Add cheese, milk and bacon, mixing until a soft and sticky dough forms; beat 20 strokes.
  5. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
