The Golden Ratio for Instant and Delicious Cafe au Lait
- 150 ml Milk (whole milk)
- 50 ml Water
- 3 tsp Instant coffee
- 2 tsp Sugar
- Fill the cup with milk and water.
- Float the instant coffee granules on top.
- Add sugar.
- Do not mix.
- Microwave for 2 minutes at 600 W. It's ready when it starts to smell like burnt coffee!

- Here it is microwaved for a bit longer.
- Stir vigorously, and there you have a beautiful cafe au lait!
