Good Morning Cheese Grits
- 1 cup chopped green peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup quick-cooking grits, cooked as directed on package
- 1-1/4 cups KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Cook and stir peppers and onions in nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 min.
- or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
- Place in medium bowl.
- Add cooked grits, 3/4 cup cheese and salt; stir until blended.
- Add eggs; mix well.
- Pour into 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake 30 min.
- or until center is set.
- Let stand 10 min.
- before serving.
