Pork Chops With Gravy
- 2 pork chops
- 1/2 cup gluten-free baking mix
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup gluten-free all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 2 tsp beef bouillon (or 2 cubes)
- 1/3 cup soymilk
- Coat pork chops with baking mix.
- Heat shortening in 10" skillet over medium heat until melted.
- Cook pork until brown on both sides.
- Remove from skillet.
- Stir flour into skillet.
- Cook stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth & bubbly.
- Stir in water & bouillon.
- Heat til boiling, stirring constantly, until bouillon is dissolved.
- Boil & stir 1 minute.
- Add pork; reduce heat.
- Cover & simmer 20 minutes.
- Uncover.
- Take out pork.
- Stir milk in gradually.
- Add pork back & heat through.
- Then serve.
