90 Minute Dinner Rolls Recipe
- 2 c. unsifted flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 pkt dry yeast
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 x egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Mix 3/4 c. flour, sugar, salt, and undissolved yeast.
- Heat lowfat milk, water, and oleo till hot (120-130F).
- Gradually add in to dry ingredients.
- Beat 2 min at medium speed.
- Add in 1/4 c. flour.
- Beat at high speed for 2 min.
- Stir in sufficient additional flour to make a soft smooth dough.
- Knead till smooth.
- Divide dough into 12 equal pcs.
- Shape into balls and arrange in a greased 8" round pan.
- Cover rolls.
- Place in a draft free hot place.
- Let rise to double in bulk.
- Bake at 375F for 20-25 min.
