Brad's steak gyros
- 3 lb beef london broil. sliced thin
- 8 flat breads. (I used garlic naan bread)
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 8 oz lager beer
- 1 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 1/2 tbsp Greek seasoning
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 juice of one lemon
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 crumbled feta cheese
- 1 crumbled goat cheese
- 1 fresh sliced tomatoes
- 1 sliced cucumbers
- 1 chopped cilantro
- 1 fresh basil leaf
- 1 tatziki sauce see link below
- 1 sliced red onions
- 1 lemon wedges
- Mix all marinade ingredients.
- Coat beef strips.
- Let marinade at least an hour.
- Prepare all topping ingredients.
- Preheat grill.
- Moisten a paper towel with oil and oil grill with tongs.
- Grill beef over high heat a couple minutes a side until medium rare.
- Or desired doneness.
- Remove beef to a plate and tent with foil.
- Grill flat breads very quickly on each side.
- Place beef and desired toppings on flatbread squeeze lemon wedge over all, fold and serve
