Affogato

• 1/3 cup heavy cream
• 2 tsp confectioners' sugar
• 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
• 1 hot expresso (I have used hot coffee too in a pinch)
• 1 Chocolate shavings for garnish (if desired)

1. Beat heavy cream with confectioners' sugar until soft peaks form.
2. Put the ice cream into a glass or bowl.
3. Pour hot expresso over the ice cream and top with the whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
