Tex-Mex Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Brown meat in large skillet; drain.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add beans, tomatoes, chili powder and garlic powder; mix well.
  5. Spread into 8- or 9-inch square baking dish.
  6. Bring water to boil in medium saucepan.
  7. Gradually add cereal, stirring constantly with wire whisk until well blended.
  8. Cook 1 to 3 min.
  9. or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  10. Remove from heat; cool 5 min.
  11. Add chilies, 1/2 cup of the cheese and the eggs; mix well.
  12. Spread evenly over meat mixture.
  13. Bake 25 min.
  14. or until heated through.
  15. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese.
  16. Bake an additional 5 min.
  17. or until cheese is melted.
