Vickys Soy Sauce Substitute
- 4 tsp treacle/mollasses
- 40 ml balsamic vinegar
- 60 ml water
- 1 tsp low sodium salt or to taste
- 1 pinch ground ginger
- 1 pinch black pepper
- Mix together in a bowl.
- It's easier to blend if the water is slightly warm.
- Keeps in the fridge covered for a week
- Some people add beef bouillon for extra flavour.
- I skip it due to allergy but you could add a quarter tsp of granulated bouillon if desired
- Makes 120mls / half a cup
