Salted Caramel Walnuts with Rosemary

  1. In a dry pan, roast walnuts over medium heat until aromatic, about 34 minutes.
  2. In a pot, heat sugar and water over medium heat.
  3. When it starts to boil, lower the heat and add chopped rosemary and cayenne pepper.
  4. Remove from the heat, add walnuts, salt and black pepper (if using) and stir until walnuts are evenly coated with a think layer of caramel mixture.
  5. Transfer to a sheet of baking paper and let cool.
  6. Enjoy!
