Swedish Apple Cake

  1. Slice, core and thinly slice apples.
  2. Mix together the apples, 5 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix remaining ingredients and beat for 3 minutes.
  4. Mixture is very thick.
  5. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.
  6. Alternate in pan the apple mixture and batter, starting and finishing with batter.
  7. Bake 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours at 350u0b0.
  8. Sprinkle confectioners sugar on cool cake.
