Chocolate Krispies

  1. Put the butter (or margarine), sugar and syrup in a medium-sized saucepan, and heat over a gentle heat until melted.
  2. Stir in the cocoa (or drinking chocolate) and stir well to make a chocolate syrup.
  3. Stir in the cornflakes or krispies, and mix well to coat them thoroughly.
  4. Heap them into the paper cases and leave to set.
  5. Store in a tin or plastic box.
