Crunchy Tuna Bake Recipe
- 6 ounce. French fried onions
- 13 ounce. tuna
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 16 ounce. green beans, cut & liquid removed
- 8 ounce. water chestnuts, sliced
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 teaspoon curry pwdr
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Reserve 1/4 c. of the onions.
- Mix remaining onions, green beans, tuna and water chestnuts (liquid removed).
- Mix soup, lowfat milk, mayonnaise and curry pwdr; fold into tuna mix.
- Pour into ungreased 2 qt casserole.
- Cover and bake 30 min.
- Sprinkle with reserved onions and bake uncovered 5 min.
- Can use cream of mushroom soup instead.
- Serves 6.
