Taco Pie
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
- 12 tortillas
- 12 oz. Longhorn cheese, grated
- sour cream
- taco sauce
- 1 clove garlic or garlic powder
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 4 oz. green chilies, chopped and drained
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- Brown ground beef; stir in onion, tomatoes, chilies and chili powder.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Line a 9 x 13-inch dish with 6 tortillas; spread meat mixture over tortillas and top with the remaining tortillas.
- Sprinkle grated cheese over tortillas.
- Heat soup with 1/4 cup of water to make pouring consistency.
- Pour over cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Serve with sour cream and taco sauce.
