Scouse & hot baguette Mmmmm...

  1. Brown the stewing steak, add onion, carrot, parsnip and leeks, leave to fry for 5 mins.
  2. Add tomato puree and stir.
  3. Add water to just cover the meat and veg.
  4. Leave until it comes to the boil add potatoes fill water until it covers.
  5. Add 2 stock cubes.
  6. Simmer for 1-2 hours.
  7. Add cabbage after few hours, and 2 more stock cubes, add gravy to slightly thicken, serve
