Beef stew with gravy
- 3 lb stew meat
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 medium chopped onions
- 6 large carrots
- 2 cup chopped celery
- 2 medium chopped potatoes
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cup Beef broth
- Mix together flour, salt and pepper.
- Mix in stew meat.
- Make sure the meat is completely covered with flour mixture.
- Sear meat in olive oil on medium high heat..
- Add meat to vegetables in the crockpot.
- On medium heat, add floor and milk to skillet with remaining stew meat grease.
- Stir until creamy and somewhat thick.
- Pour gravy mixture over all ingredients in crockpot.
- Pour beef broth into crockpot and stir all together.
- Cook on high for 4 to 6 hours.
