Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich
- 16 ounces, weight Sirloin, Thinly Sliced
- 1/2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cups Bell Pepper, Sliced Thin
- 1/2 cups Onion, Thinly Sliced
- 1 loaf Ciabatta Bread
- 1/4 cups Jalapenos Or Banana Peppers (optional)
- 1 cup Pepper Jack Cheese, Shredded
- To a hot skillet, add the sirloin.
- During cooking, keep shredding meat with a fork into bite size pieces.
- Cook until no longer pink and meat temperature reaches 160 degrees F, about 12-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in another skillet add butter, peppers and onions.
- Cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Slice ciabatta in half lengthwise, add cooked sirloin, peppers, onions, jalapenos and cheese.
- Place sandwich in oven and bake until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
