Choco Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat brown sugar, peanut butter and butter till fluffy.
  3. Blend in water, egg and vanilla.
  4. Add in combined oats, flour and baking soda; mix well.
  5. Cover.
  6. Refrigerate1 hour.
  7. Shape into 1" balls.
  8. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Using bottom of glass dipped in sugar, press into 1/4" thick circles.
  10. Bake 8 to 10 min or possibly till edges are golden.
  11. Remove to wire rack.
  12. Cold completely.
  13. Heat chocolate pcs as package directs; stir in vegetable shortening mixing till smooth.
  14. Top each cookie with 1/2 tsp.
  15. melted chocolate; sprinkle with minced peanuts (optional).
  16. Refrigeratetill set.
  17. Store tightly covered.
  18. Makes about 6 dozen.
